BCSC (Canada): Warning against MetaProTrader

Official warning from BCSC

Reason for warning from BCSC’s note:

MetaProTrader claims to offer an online trading platform and appears to be based outside Canada.

We recently became aware that MetaProTrader accepted funds from a British Columbia (BC) resident.

MetaProTrader is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.

We urge BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
