Description

Tickmill is a broker that began operations in 2015. Thanks to its excellent offerings, low spreads, and good order execution, it quickly gained a large number of trusted clients.

It offers negative balance protection. Licensed in five jurisdictions: the UK (FCA), Cyprus (CySEC), Seychelles (FSC), Labuan (Labuan FSA), and South Africa (FSCA), the broker operates an ECN model and offers very favorable trading conditions.

Tickmill Offer

Tickmill offers access to CFD products across a variety of sectors, including forex, stock indices, precious metals, bonds, cryptocurrencies, and stocks. You can view the full list of available instruments, along with a spread table, on the broker’s website .

Forex

The broker offers access to over 60 currency pairs with favorable spreads. According to the website, the typical spread on the EUR/USD pair is 0.1, but in practice, you’ll more often see values in the 0.3-0.5 range.

Indices and oil

Tickmill offers access to 20 stock indices, including oil prices, with a maximum leverage of 1:20 for retail clients and 1:100 for professional clients.

Precious metals

The broker also offers CFDs based on gold and silver. Here, too, the leverage is 1:20 for individual clients and 1:100 for professional clients.

Bonds

If you want to trade bonds, Tickmill offers access primarily to European bonds. In this case, the leverage level for individual clients is a maximum of 1:5.

Cryptocurrencies

To meet customer needs, Tickmill has also introduced access to cryptocurrency-based CFDs. You’ll find several of the most popular coins available, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, and XRP.

Shares

The broker also offers access to CFDs on shares. You’ll find many of the largest and most liquid companies there, around 100 in total. Leverage is 1:20.

Available trading accounts

Tickmill offers two types of accounts, each of which can be opened with PLN as the base currency:

Raw Account

This is an account with low spreads, but with an added commission, as befits an ECN broker. The commission is €3 for a contract size of €100,000. It’s worth noting that there is no commission for trading CFDs on stocks, indices, cryptocurrencies, or bonds.

Classic Account

This is the simplest account where the broker does not add any commission, but uses slightly wider spreads, starting from 1.6 pips.

Additionally, the broker also offers less popular accounts, such as professional and Islamic accounts. Of course, you can also test the broker’s offerings on a demo account.

I've been going with Tickmill people for about 7 years now as I trade. Generally I can't say a bad word, when some strange actions happened they always explained quickly, but during this time I can count them on the fingers of one hand :) Generally I'm satisfied.

The broker is tolerable, I haven't experienced slippage as the colleague below writes, although maybe once it happened during data publication. Generally spreads are decent, though I trade intraday, so maybe for daytraders it performs somewhat worse. In any case certainly reliable.

Very good offer, low spreads, nice support. I've been trading with them (among others) for over a year and so far I'm satisfied. Nevertheless I recommend spreading larger capital among several brokers for security ;)

I have very mixed feelings, supposedly everything is fine. Transaction costs are okay, however sometimes everything goes awry and those slippages during order execution are from my observations slightly larger than with other brokers. I recommend everyone test thoroughly, the broker itself is worth recommending, but unfortunately it's not as beautiful as it might seem at first.

Best broker in Europe at the moment. Tight spreads, good customer service, and money in the account on time. For day trading and sometimes slightly longer plays it's perfectly sufficient for me.

Based on my experience so far (3 years on FX) I can say that Tickmill is currently probably the best broker when it comes to the European Union. Very favorable spreads and no strange behavior like with some market makers.

I came across Tickmill about 8 months ago and have been trading with them since. I admit it's mainly because of the low spreads, but the platform also works well. Execution is fast enough, and you can communicate with support.

I've been with them basically from the beginning. For a few weeks there was indeed a problem with DAX, but after that they fixed it as promised and since then it's been quiet. Apart from that hiccup, Tickmill is unrivaled in the Polish market.

The broker was good until the end of 2017. Currently spreads on DAX are widening severely (up to 30 pts during session). In the broker's opinion these are normal market conditions.
UP//Broker fixed the DAX spread problem

The broker is quite good, interesting offer with good spreads and fast order execution. However, I give a big minus for the offer due to the fact that for 2-3 weeks the spreads have been widening terribly. I hope this will be fixed soon...
