TheCoinTrust is an unlicensed investment platform offering the opportunity to invest in CFDs. There are many indications that their actions are dishonest and fraudulent. It is run by SPT Media LLC, which was issued a warning by the Spanish regulator CMNV.
The activities of “advisers” contacting on behalf of the platform are aimed at extorting the largest possible deposit under the pretext of bonuses, tax or commission fees.
Below is an account of one of the aggrieved parties:
For 2 weeks I watched how I was making money on EUR / USD currency pairs, then Mr. Aleksander Laper (edit. fake name) – an employee of thecointrust offered me that the company was ready to give me a bonus of EUR 25,000 for the same capital contribution on my part. I did so, I deposited EUR 25,000 and got a bonus of EUR 25,000, then the application showed me that I was making money using robots on cryptocurrencies.
Unfortunately, when I wanted to withdraw the profits, the stairs started, first I had to pay 3800 EUR in tax, then 4000 EUR insurance, then the profit increased wonderfully and suddenly I had Belka’s tax to pay again, then the profit increased again and again insurance and every day after paying the X amount it turned out that there is something that is blocking my refund.
