Tickmill: April trader made 48,000. USD on 62 orders
The new “trader of the month” in the monthly competition organized by Tickmill is Chaobo, who almost doubled his capital. It achieved this with only 62 deals.
The recipe for earning $ 48,000, in this case, was an extensive experience and a well-thought-out strategy. In an interview with Tickmill, Chaobo introduced himself as a trader with 11 years of experience. It was especially visible in capital management. Chaobo regularly paid out profits so as not to expose himself to unnecessary risks.
The favorite instrument of the new trader of the month was the GBP / USD pair. Chaobo completed 61 out of all 62 orders made in April. The exception was one item from the beginning of the month, which was closing the USD / CNH transaction. However, it had an exceptionally low volume (0.05 lots) and was opened at the end of February.
The volumes on the remaining orders did not exceed 10 lots (2 transactions). The positions of 5 lots and 1 lot dominated. The transactions lasted from several minutes to several days. The long one on April 12 ended with the biggest one-off gain. On that day, the next stage of easing the restrictions took place in Great Britain, so everything indicates that Chaobo played specific events. He opened a 4-lot position at 9 a.m. and closed just before 4 p.m. earned him $ 3,204. Overall, Chaobo only lost on 10 trades, which translates into efficiency of 83.87%.
- Profit: 48 158 USD
- Return: 93,11%
- Transactions: 62
- Profit transactions: 83,87%
