Watch out for the Martyn Services platform (martynservice.com)
Martyn Services platform reaches customers through advertisements on the Internet encouraging them to leave a number and by direct telephone contact (probably as a result of purchasing databases with personal data).
We have received many reports from people who are unable to withdraw funds deposited on the platform. The deposits themselves are made via cryptocurrencies or Revolut accounts, which makes it difficult to carry out the chargeback complaint procedure.
In addition, aggrieved persons receive from Martyn Services consultants forged bank documents, which are to prove the necessity to make further payments (e.g. for commission or tax).
“[…] they sent a counterfeit letter from bank that our money is deposited in Cyprus and we have to pay 10 thousand to return the whole […] they send a PDF copy, access to which was blocked after a while” – reports a member of the intervention group for people scammed by pseudo brokers.
The broker uses the company name Martyn Services Limited with the reference number 04889700, registered in the United Kingdom. However, looking at the company’s data, we can see that it deals in a completely different industry, and fraudsters use its data only to gain trust among potential victims.
