eToro becomes a sponsor of 8 clubs from the Italian Serie A
eToro is once again increasing its presence in the sports arenas. This time, the Israeli broker has focused on the Italian market and has signed sponsorship deals with eight football clubs playing in the country’s top league, Serie A. The eToro logo will now be seen next to the club crests of Bologna F.C., Cagliari Calcio, Genoa C.F.C., U.C. Sampdoria, U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, Spezia Calcio, Udinese Calcio and Hellas Verona F.C.
The contracts were concluded for the 2021/22 season. According to them, the broker will gain wide possibilities of promoting its brand offered by clubs. The eToro logo will appear, among others, on LED advertising boards around the pitch on the match day, on walls constituting the background of TV interviews. It will also obtain rights to match tickets and digital advertisements. Additionally, eToro has signed a LED advertising deal with another Italian soccer club, U.S. Salernitan 1919.

Sports sponsorship has turned out to be one of the favourite marketing channels for financial companies. EToro, which is preparing to go public in the US, is a giant in the sports market. The Israeli broker supports established brands such as Arsenal and several other football clubs in the UK and Europe. In addition, it is the leading partner of the French football club AS Monaco. The broker’s sports contracts are not limited to football only – he had previously concluded, among others, a 3-year sponsorship agreement with Rugby Australia.
