IC Markets is increasing its presence in the sports sponsorship sector

IC Markets company, a forex and CFD trading services provider, has expanded its global sports sponsorship portfolio by signing agreements with several professional soccer clubs in Spain and Germany.

The broker signed contracts under which he became a sponsor of La Liga and Bundesliga clubs. Spanish teams under the latest sponsorship deal include RCD Mallorca, Cadiz, Real Sociedad, Athletic Bilbao, Getafe and Granada. As we previously reported, in Germany, IC Markets will sponsor clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Hertha BSC, FC Augsburg, Arminia Bielefeld, Greuther Fürth and VfL Bochum.

The new sponsorship deals are expected to help IC Markets expand global brand awareness. The broker will gain exposure in live broadcasts and during matches through advertisements displayed around the pitches on LCD screens, a logo and intellectual property rights.

Leading companies in the financial industry worldwide are increasingly choosing soccer clubs as tools to increase the global awareness of their brands. This is mainly due to the huge international popularity of the sport. La Liga and Bundesliga are among the most elite football competitions in Europe. As a result, IC Markets will have an average attendance of 25,000 viewers at La Liga matches and 40,000 at Bundesliga matches, not counting the millions of viewers.
