Watch out for the EZCFDS broker
Another rogue Forex broker has emerged that operates under the name EZCFDS. According to the information provided on the ezcfds.com website, the platform is owned by Xvector LTD. It is an offshore company registered on the islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which is not licensed to provide financial services in the EU.

The Spanish CNMV warns against 12 platforms
The Comisión Nacional de Mercado de Valores (CNMV) has updated the list of alerts to include 12 entities that are not registered in Spain. Among them are two popular cryptocurrency exchanges, i.e. Huobi and ByBit. However, they are not accused of infringements against customers.
The remaining companies from the last update of the CNMV’s alert list are mostly fake investment platforms and offshore brokers.
The Profit Assist platform appeared today for the 7th time on the European regulator’s list of warnings. Seabreeze Partners Ltd is also responsible for frauds with the same profile: MaxiPlus and InvestFlow.

FCA warns against two domains
The British Financial Supervision Authority (FCA) has issued a warning against two entities. The first is the unregistered GXCM broker. There is no information on his website about the country from which he operates, the addresses of offices or persons responsible for the company. Furthermore, the broker presents false information about allegedly received industry awards.
The second company added to the FCA blacklist is Patron Capital Partners, a fake investment platform that pretends to be Patron Capital Advisers LLP by illegally using its certificate.

The FMA warns of unregulated platforms
The Austrian Financial Supervisory Authority issued warnings against 3 unregulated investment platforms. The offshore brokers Btcswing and INVcenter (belonging to Almost Identical s.r.o and Advanced Software Solutions Ltd.) and the Mciinvestments platform were added to the FMA blacklist.
Earlier (7/13/2021) the FMA issued warnings against the Victoria Coins and TradeVTech trading platforms. These are offshore brokers that operate without a license.

KNF warns against Idea Invest sp. z o.o.
On August 16, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) placed Idea Invest, a company based in Warsaw, on the list of public warnings. The regulator also announced that it had submitted a notification of the possibility of committing a crime under Article 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments. The case was referred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.
